Sometimes a mix is done and then something changes. A stronger vocal take, a re-cut verse, a new bassline. Instead of starting the whole mix over, we swap just that stem.
We drop your new part into the original session, match its processing to the rest of the record, and rebalance so nothing feels out of place. You keep the mix you approved, with the one part updated.
This is a per-stem add-on for songs we have mixed. Send the replacement stem exported the same way as your originals.
Swapping a single stem is far quicker and cheaper than remixing from scratch, and it keeps every other decision you already signed off exactly as it was. We match the new part to the level, tone and effects of the version it replaces, so the update sits in the record naturally rather than standing out as an obvious patch.
Export it the same way as your original files, from bar one at the same sample rate, dry unless the part needs its own effects. That lets us drop it straight into the session.
If the replacement is a big creative change rather than a swap, it may need a fuller remix. Message us first and we will tell you honestly which one it is.
