This Refund Policy explains when you can receive a refund and how our unlimited revisions work. It applies to all orders placed with Audio Mixing Mastering B.V. ("we", "us", "the studio"). Please read it together with our Terms & Conditions.
The short version
Before you use your order: if you have paid but your order or order credit is still unused and no engineer has started work, you can request a full refund.
Once work has started: the order is no longer refundable. Instead, you receive unlimited free revisions until the result matches your original order, at no extra cost.
1. Before your order is used: full refund available
If you have purchased an order or an order credit and have not submitted it for work, and no engineer has started, you are entitled to a full refund of that unused order. This is designed for clients who like to buy today, use a discount today, and send their files later.
To qualify, all of the following should be true:
- The order credit has not been redeemed and work has not been started or delivered.
- You request the refund before your assigned engineer begins work on your files.
- The order is not an item that is described as non-refundable at checkout (see below).
Contact us as soon as possible and we will credit the unused amount to your studio wallet, see section 7 for how refunds are issued.
2. Once work has started: unlimited free revisions instead of a refund
The moment you redeem your order and your engineer begins work, the order is treated as in progress and is no longer refundable. This is because mixing and mastering are digital, made-to-order services: once time and studio work go into your project, that work cannot be returned or resold.
In place of a refund, every order includes unlimited free revisions within the scope of your original order. We keep refining your mix or master, at no additional cost, until it is completed according to the brief you submitted. Almost every concern is resolved with a revision round, not a refund.
3. What "unlimited revisions" means
Unlimited revisions apply to the original order and the material you submitted with it. They cover adjustments to the work we delivered, based on your original instructions. They do not include new songs, new projects, or work outside the original order, which are treated as new orders.
Included in revisions
- Adjustments to instrument and vocal levels and overall balance.
- Changes to effects such as reverb, delay, EQ and compression.
- Tweaks to match the instructions you gave in your original order or mixing form.
- Reasonable back-and-forth until the delivered version meets the agreed brief.
Not included (counts as a new order)
- New instructions or elements not mentioned in your original order.
- Major arrangement or structural changes, such as new sections or added drops.
- New file submissions, such as new vocals, instruments or replacement stems.
- A different song, project, recording or service outside the one you purchased.
If your request goes beyond the original scope, we will let you know and offer a fair quote for the additional work. Nothing extra is ever charged without your approval.
4. Rush add-ons
Rush delivery speeds up your place in the queue. Once your engineer has started work under a rush timeline, the rush add-on itself is non-refundable, because the priority has already been applied. The rest of your order still follows the rules above.
5. Subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time before your next billing date, and you keep access to everything already paid for in the current period. Any monthly credit you have already redeemed for work follows the unlimited-revisions rule above. We do not refund partial months once a credit from that month has been used.
6. Chargebacks and disputes
If anything is wrong with your order, please contact us first, we resolve almost everything quickly and directly. Opening a bank or card chargeback on work that has been delivered or is genuinely in progress, instead of contacting us, is not a substitute for this policy. We keep clear records of orders, communication, revisions and deliveries and will respond to disputes with that evidence.
7. How refunds are issued: studio wallet credit
All approved refunds are issued as credit to your Audio Mixing Mastering studio wallet, not as a return to your bank or card. When a refund is approved, we add the amount to your studio wallet balance, and you can put that credit toward any future order, service or project with us. This wallet credit is the form every approved refund takes, and it does not expire while your account is active.
To request a refund, email us or message us in your studio with your order number and a short explanation. We aim to respond within one business day and to resolve every case fairly.
