This Privacy Policy explains how Audio Mixing Mastering B.V. ("we", "us", "the studio") handles your personal information and audio files when you use our website and services. We only collect what we need to deliver your work and run our studio well.
1. What we collect
- Account and order details: your name, email, phone (optional), artist or project name, and the orders you place.
- Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
- Your audio files and the notes or instructions you send with them.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as your device and pages viewed, to keep the site working and secure.
2. How we use it
- To deliver, revise and re-send your mixing and mastering orders.
- To communicate with you about your project, delivery and support.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and keep records for our legal and accounting obligations.
- To improve our services and, where you have opted in, to send you offers and studio updates.
3. Your audio files
Your music is yours. We use your files only to perform the service you ordered. We keep them for a reasonable period so we can deliver and revise your work, then remove them from active storage. We do not sell your files or share them, except with the engineer assigned to your order. We may keep short, anonymised before/after excerpts as portfolio examples unless you ask us not to.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the studio, and only as needed. These include our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal), our secure hosting and storage, and our email provider. They process your data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Marketing and newsletter
If you subscribe to our list or opt in at checkout, we send occasional offers, tips and studio updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honour opt-outs. We do not add you to marketing without your consent, and we do not re-subscribe anyone who has unsubscribed without a fresh opt-in.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your cart, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for marketing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR. To make a request, just contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data and your music safe, and we limit access to the people who need it to do your work.
9. Retention and changes
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We may update this policy from time to time; the version on this page always applies.
